I get the same thing with reds! Like they always go kind of pinkish on when I want a true red. Red Velvet is pretty neutral and medium. It's a good standard red and I find it just has a hint of that pinkish tone. But figuring out what looks good is SO hard. I'm lucky in that I found a blog of a woman in Singapore (I think?) who has a similar skin tone to me who does a lot of lipstick reviews, so I've gone based on that. If you're interested in another brand, I really like Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Maple. It's a darker red, so would be really dramatic on you, but not purplish. I really like the quality (not drying, good coverage, citrusy scent) and they have tons of colours. One of these days I'm going to blog all of my lipsticks!
Yeah, that makes sense. Like it was looking dodgy when they moved out of the palace, but I kind of don't want to follow this new Abigail person. I also don't get why she'd be qualified to replace Skerrit. That just doesn't make sense to me. I mean, she just does some fancy sewing.
