The Sportive Sun: Heliotrope, amber, almond flower, frangipani, cedar, and calamus.

In the bottle, it's definitely darker than on my skin. I think the cedar/amber come through loud and clear ... maybe frangipani beneath them? The scent feels warm and dry - not tropical, but "place with a warm climate" more than "summer".

What's your view on BPAL as a whole? some 10-15 years ago I bought a lot of samples and bottles. But partly because it's too expensive to ship to Sweden now (I have to pay double the value for a bottle for shipping and taxes), and partly because I felt the quality of the scents declined, I stopped. The cost thing is very annoying because it just isn't worth it to buy my favouirtes when they run out.

Ooh, this sounds lovely. I'm trying really hard to not go crazy on fragrance right now (I spent ~$125 on perfume on my vacation a few weeks ago) but you're tempting me!
