So yesterday I started to translate the seamstress thing in that encyclopedia, but after doing several paragraphs it just really sounded like Garsault, so I stopped because must save best for last! But then now I'm comparing them side-by-side and it's not copied, and it looks like the couturier section in Garsault is really short and doesn't contain half the information in the Encyclopedia. So ... that means you can expect me to have some hardcore dress information once I feel like I need a break from detailed descriptions of fiddly things with justaucorps. Es. (I'm about a third of the way through the whole book, btw.) And I think that time is now.

ETA: The book is here, can anyone figure out where the plates are? Maybe a different volume?

ETA2: WHAT IS THIS MADNESS it seems to be referring to Garsault's plates, the letters and figures match up, I am so confused.
