The Sportive Sun: Heliotrope, amber, almond flower, frangipani, cedar, and calamus.

In the bottle, it's definitely darker than on my skin. I think the cedar/amber come through loud and clear ... maybe frangipani beneath them? The scent feels warm and dry - not tropical, but "place with a warm climate" more than "summer".

Pretty positive. I've liked the majority of the scents I've tried. But I have no experience with perfume in general to compare them to!

I find them rather different from "ordinary" brands. In large part because of the oil component- I find other indie brands with perfume oils have similar characteristics. I find BPAL cozier, somehow. But then I tend to go for warm and spicy, and that aspect works well with an oil base, IMO.
