Three Things

chocolatepot- The guy who interviewed me said there'd be a meeting on Sunday (five days after my interview) to talk about new hires with the managers and supervisors, and so I'd hear on Sunday. I didn't hear on Sunday, or on Monday, so I called yesterday afternoon and was told that the woman who did the calls had been busy on the customer service desk all day. Okay, fair enough, I left my name and number so I might get a call earlier than I would have. Meanwhile Candles keeps calling me because they understandably want to know if I'm coming back and it's so awkward, and when I talk to Shellie she always thinks I just hated it and felt terrible all the time and it's like, no, I just thought I'd like somewhere else more. Aaagh.
- So when Mom and I were in the car going to Schoharie we listened to Ragtime (still can't believe the revival flopped, what is wrong with people?). I thought the guy who played Tateh sounded a little familiar so I looked at the booklet to see, and I didn't recognize his name, but the person who played the Little Girl, Tateh's ~six year old daughter? LEA MICHELE.
- I know everyone's hating Delicious now, but the stacks are actually working out great for me. I'm not sure exactly what AVOS intended them to be for, but I'm using them like decade tags on my historical bookmarks, and when I go to, for example, my 1700-1730 stack, I can see the pictures of every gown and painting I link to without having to click the link. So I'm really happy about that!
