Cinderella's Sister
Dec. 22nd, 2011 09:19 pmI left off watching this after episode 9 because I was frustrated at the way the character dynamics never seemed to change, but after a break and coming in at ep 10, omg. This is a hard thing to explain, but Kang-sook suddenly flipping out and unleashing her special brand of nasty crazy entertains me in a horrible way* because a) Kang-sook being dreadful is so amazing and b) I haven't been able to like Hyo-seon much at all, and so I simultaneously get a kick out of Kang-sook being crazy and someone being mean to Hyo-seon, and am allowed to like Hyo-seon because someone's being mean to her.
Oh, Eun-jo being completely unable to deal with emotion, how I have missed you.
I have to say, though, that watching a subtitled k-drama in one window and trying to read a French costume blog in another is really a special experience.
* Kang-sook flipping out and trying to scream the loudest at the funeral entertained me in a normal way
