SHIP MY DAMN KINDLE

I've made a folder of things to move to the Kindle, somehow it is 732MB. There are a few proper ebooks, a solid amount of things from JSTOR I've never gotten around to reading because I'm not fond of reading on the computer, and a METRIC TON of free PDFs from Google Books that I've had in my library there forever for ditto reasons. I'm especially, dorkily excited about being able to just go through 18th and 19th century fashion magazines in my spare time.

OH SNAP while I was typing this it finally switched to "shipped". I feel bad because I read a great muckraking article in Mother Jones about the horrific conditions in the warehouses used by online retailers like Amazon, but yeah I'm kind of selfish at times.

I am going to write my grandmother a second thank you note for giving me an Amazon gift certificate.
