Day two: not greasy, but a bit dry. I think I need to use more vinegar (although it seems really counterintuitive - but I'm guessing the vinegar is to balance the pH since the baking soda is basic, so if my hair is dry-in-a-bad-way it means I didn't get it all the way down to 7?) but I'm also planning to go to the Albany co-op for xanthan and guar gum to make this conditioner which I saw someone recommend as really good for curly/wavy hair.

For washing, I like to use liquid castile soap mixed with distilled water (half and half), and I also put lemon and rosemary oils in it. I tried the baking soda thing but just didn't like it. I enjoy the feel and smell of soap and the fun of playing with different oils too much. I only used the vinegar rinse once, and it worked nicely, but I don't know if I'll ever use it again, because it smells... like vinegar. I keep meaning to make conditioner (the recipe I found is similar), but the gums for it are kinda expensive so I keep hesitating.
