Pro: SO MUCH text on Remus, omg! All the backstory, it's so wonderful! Loved his parents' story

Con: AARRRGH, why did she have to make R/T worse? The detractors have always acted like there was nothing actually between them, that they never really got together until the end of HBP (meaning that it was overstepping for everyone to insist they should be together), and the thing I always clung to was the idea that they gradually got closer and closer until he got scared and backed off, which definitely gave Tonks more justification in her insistence. Why did she have to take that away? It's just all fucked up now. And I like the ship fucked up - Remus trying to recapture his lost youth by running off with Harry made my day - but not like that. I just ... come on.

We're going to have to wait until sometime in OotP for one on Sirius, aren't we? :(

Rowling is bad at writing romance. I find it rather endearing when she's writing teenagers, because they tend to be bad at romance too, so it gels. But when it comes to adults... urgh.

But it's like ... isn't (my way) the most natural way to go about it, if you're not actively trying to make it weird? Why would it even occur to you that she shouldn't have gotten at least a little encouragement? "Yo, dumbass, you told me you loved me and then tried to make me leave you, I'm not going to" >>> "I know you love me because I just know it, now admit it"
