I feel like it's unlikely I'll get matched on this poor little unpopular ship, but maybe I'll get a treat? :P I'm not a canon-hater, but I definitely preferred a) the kind of flirty vibe they had in OotP and b) the high drama of the end of HBP to ... you know, what happened in DH. So I would love a take that plays with either of those.

I beta'd a Sirius/Lily fic for a friend once and realized that I really like this ship, perhaps partly because we don't know any other female characters of this generation well enough! But Lily's level-headedness and willingness to tell people off pair very well with Sirius's recklessness and temper.

I imagine these AU/fake world tags as being from Sirius's perspective.

DNW Cardassians that are *too* lizardy? Like, they can be more lizardy than the technology/budget allowed for at the time, but let's be reasonable.

So many interesting options for this couple! It would definitely be interesting to explore not just the interspecies relationship, but the interspecies marriage. I love intricate customs and rituals, and Cardassia seems like a super place for that, as well as for a proposal to be rejected because such things are done very differently there. Why would these two need to go undercover as married? I don't know, but it would be very fun, wouldn't it?
