Academia is confusing

I was getting nervous that I needed to figure out pictures and such (and pay the image licenses myself) before the deadline for this paper, but the submission page fortunately says images come after the peer review process. Hopefully they pay for some of the image rights? Because it doesn't seem right that I would have to pay the MFA $50/fashion plate.

I think I may be done with the general text of this paper? I find it hard to believe. I'm going to leave it now and come back tomorrow evening to fix the formatting of the citations and works cited (they're always wrong, no matter how I do them, but at least they're less wrong than usual), then read through it and make it smoother.

Yes, this does count as enough to let me get that month of Ancestry.com membership.
