So I spent most of the day not doing much (naturally) - sitting around watching SVU and Mad Men and writing blog posts about Chanel to get them out of my system so I can get past those feels. And now I've just finished running through my presentation and it's crap. I need to totally rearrange it. So 1920sClermont5.pptx, I guess.

Part of the problem is that it's way too academic. It'd be great as an outline for a paper, but it's terrible as a presentation that people need to listen to (although I think it'd have been decent as a DU class, the focus seems to be too much on construction, material, and misconceptions). I don't know what to do with it. I don't know what to say anymore.

sorry

Why is it

that

I actually kind of hate the later 1920s because a) it's the part of the decade that is least flattering to me personally (very important) and b) they dominate the perception of the '20s out of proportion

but

when I want pictures or illustrations from the later 1920s they just don't exist?

Edit point 1: Hey look I just found archives of L'Officiel de la Mode that includes late 1920s issues, yaaaaaaay (also l'Art et la Mode)

Edit point 2: I've now constructed a marvelous designer section that I'm not really sure what I'm going to say during, frankly I am not feeling very confident right now.
