(no subject)

I finally started a muslin for the last dress pattern I bought. But I'm using Mom's sewing machine, which used to be mine, and I hate it. So I'm not starting the dress itself until I've brought mine back up here. Part of me thinks I should do it all by hand, but I'm never going to get better if I don't practice.

My blog has gotten very boring. I mean, it's never been what you might call exciting but it's all just rambling, stilted paragraphs about the abstract concept of Fashion. I don't do enough sewing to allow for progress posts. I'm not planning out anything and don't need to do research. I kind of want to try being chatty, but I can't think of any way to integrate chattiness with potential topics.
