(no subject)

Worked on Kitty's cap, but I need to stop for a while, maybe until after lunch - wrist is hurting. I haven't been wearing the brace because it's so stiff and it's been rubbing on the base of my thumb, making a callus and (I think) a deep bruise; this morning my wrist hurt more but my thumb was SO much better.

I think we should make some test cake batches for the next one Mom's got to make, because the baby shower cake was very dry. The vanilla (Madeira) layers were good, but the chocolate was meh. And I would like some cake. We should probably make buttercream to go with them ... just in case. Because. You know.
