(no subject)

Catching up on my blogroll as it was a week since I read any except the occasional one linked on LJ. My word. As usual when I spend this much time reading them I feel extremely unproductive. Look at what other people have sewn recently, while in the past three weeks I've made a skirt and most of a pair of drawers. (I hand-sewed them, the drawers, I mean, because the originals were, but if I do get into making a drawerful for myself - ha - I'm going to do at least the straight French seams on the machine.)

I always feel especially unproductive when I read Historical Sew Fortnightly posts, but I've decided to do something about that by following along and doing a themed post for each challenge. It would be a nice way to participate without actually sewing.

Can you tell I'm trying to distract myself from going to an interview I don't particularly want?
