It seems a little excessive to me, having a cake decorator in at 6 on the weekends, but sometimes it's very busy and there's a lot of replacement needed in the cake case. Let's just hope there aren't many that go out of date today and that none of my special orders are tricky. The AM's supposed to be in today as supervisor, which means STRESS.
The nice thing, though, about living here and having to go in to work early, is the stars. When I was taking the dog out at stupid o'clock, I was pleased to note that due to the low level of light pollution, there was a huge number of stars available. A great big spray across the sky.
Stayed up a little too late last night working on a blog post - I finished the Redfern one, but I'm going to pre-empt it with one about Outlander. Basically I'm annoyed because the costume designer has been like "I'm super accurate", and then people argued with her about wrong factual statements (post now deleted), and then she goes on ADLauren's post and complains that reenactors are holding her to too high a standard. I want to avoid getting personal but I'd like to make the point that these days we're all equals on the internet and let's have discussions with no bad faith on either side.
