So yesterday Mom and I went to the Stone Fort Days down in Schoharie - I had a great time just hanging out in period clothing, and I have a couple of pictures of the two of us. Only a couple, as of course the camera died very soon, as it always does. We didn't do very much and definitely didn't make any contacts or anything, but being in costume for several hours did teach me some things about what I did wrong and right in sewing, so there's a thing.

There was a thing on enchantedinkpot about gaslamp fantasy. For some reason, my definition splits off paranormal/supernatural neo-Gothic sort of stuff that's basically set in the real world otherwise from books about people doing magic as a part of their world (The Magicians and Mrs Quent, JS&Mr N, Bewitching Season, etc.). Is that weird?
