I've done all of this sewing and even thought I was finished on the sleeves, but the shoulders are just sliiiightly too tight so now I have to unpick. Also each time I put on my stays I am more and more irritated by the shortness of the front. *huge sigh* It makes me feel like such an idiot. I suppose that the next time I go to make something I can basically just trace the seamlines onto something else and not have to do all of this worrisome guesswork, but that's not very helpful right now.
Things like this are what make me sigh inwardly when people who know I can sew suggest I try to make money with it. 1) I would never ever finish anything in time as I get to tricky bits and then stop work for days on end. 2) It would never fit right and I would feel bad asking for money.
Still, though, I think about Aziz Ansari saying the word "puppy" on P&R the other night and I feel lots better.
