Concrete Sewing Goals

chocolatepotI need some. I don't get anything done without real goals that I intend to fulfill. I also tend to work better with some sort of deadline, but I'll have to make do with "Dress U 2013".
- I am going to have a 1910s ensemble, starting with finishing the 1911 corset. (It just needs to be bound on the bottom edge! And maybe have a tuck taken in the back!) At some point I'm going to make a nice chemise and drawers, but I have a passable chemise that will do all right for now. More importantly, I'm going to make a lingerie dress and a blue or purple silk charmeuse slip to wear under it.
Necessary materials to purchase: cotton batiste, silk charmeuse. I have thread and snaps.
- I am going to make a late 1830s ensemble. Again, I've got a chemise that's not quite right but is passable enough to make that the last step. I did make upkoshka_the_cat's 1830s corset pattern one time but it did not fit, so I need to make one of those, hopefully using the pattern I took at Cherry Hill - it's weird, has a deep point in the CF but nothing over the hips. I'll also need a few petticoats, maybe a corded one but I don't fancy doing that.
Necessary materials to purchase: petticoat cotton, cotton twill for corset, dark silk thread so I can make it look like this (although part of me wants this). Oh, and a busk. I have some decent cotton for it, but will need something to line it with and some satin for piping.
Okay. Okay! I have told people about my plans and now I will follow through on them. That is how it works, yes?
