I got an email back from the place. She sent my writing samples up to the boss, but she thinks he's set for freelance writers. :| Tomorrow I'm going to Stewarts for an application, I don't care how humiliating it is.

Melissa usually co-ordinates with me over Dad's presents, but since she never got in touch with me over his birthday I assumed she was getting him something like concert tickets. Nope, we both got him a cherry pitter and a suit bag.

(On the other hand, I'm reading Gathering Blue and it's great.)
