Oops, dang

I just realized that I've slightly double-booked myself. I'm meeting Julie and the others in Troy at noon for the Victorian Stroll, and there's a lecture on quilts at AIHA at 2 that I need to go to, because it's being given by Linda Baumgarten and I want to introduce myself afterward and be like, hey, I'm doing a pattern book too, can you give me any tips. This isn't a really problematic scheduling issue as Albany is very close to Troy, I can leave the stroll around 1:30 or so and get there in time. The tricky bit is that this might mean two episodes of difficult parking (or two episodes of easy parking, who knows).
I also gave in and ordered two pads of 8 squares/inch graphing paper pads from Amazon. The 4s/i paper I've got is just too annoying to use and isn't wide enough - the paper just isn't the same size, and then it's got three holes in it for a binder which take a bunch more space.
I don't know if I should eat first. Maybe just a sandwich?
