Took pattern of the pink velvet 1926 evening dress in two shifts. It's a pretty simple one, probably took me >15min altogether, or I'd have felt bad. I'll scan and post it later to show you - the pattern's not really that well-done, but it's not for the book (I'll retake it for that), just for me to make for Dress U. I think there's some subtle side-seam shaping, which is interesting. Anyway, it should be cute and different.
ETA: The trouble with these Grimble books is that there's SO MUCH choice. If I'm using Arnold or Waugh and I want to make something specific, I've only got about 5 choices, tops, and maybe only one. But if I open up The Voice of Fashion there are 79 patterns.
