chocolatepotI applied to TJ Maxx and Bon Ton. Bon Ton's application was actually awesome. They had math and vocabulary questions, and they let you know that you're being timed but you can't actually see the timer, and it was the best. I miss having tests.
I'd forgotten how much I love posting historical fashion stuffs to Tumblr. Did it all day, alternating with sewing. Good times! I think what's so fun about dressatdownton is that my goal isn't just to teach people about history but to help people write clothing in their fic. At least, I hope that's happening. That's why I'm telling myself the 1880s and 1890s are relevant. Ooh, this means I can do 1890s/1900s children's clothing!
Put in one chemise sleeve inside out. I care a little bit because perfection, but otoh I've done a very good job felling the seams so it doesn't matter at all.
