Applied to a job at LACMA that I won't get. That lets me feel like I've done something, so now I can go back to translating L'Art de la Lingere, because Julie dangled it in front of me and there could be a ton of great information there, so now I'm doing it!
This is killing me, what's the term for the amount of fabric you need for a given project? I totally know this word, but for some reason it keeps darting away from me. WAIT, YARDAGE. I am so stupid sometimes, especially since the word in the original is "aunage" (an aune being a unit of measure). It was just completely escaping me.
