A costume design consultant and conservation expert with a PhD just added me to her connections on LinkedIn, and she looks so amazing. LinkedIn is terrifying, I don't have any clue what the etiquette is for connecting with people and I have this Victorian feeling that it's for higher-status people to send the invitation.
This morning I posted a ton of words on Edwardian weddings and last night I posted a ton of words that boil down to "If HP fandom ain't dead by now, kiddo, it's not gonna." I wrote "family" first instead of fandom, that pretty much says it all.
Going to Melissa's for the weekend, on Monday I'm patterning my last dress at NYSM for this book, then on Tuesday I'm going back to work. Mixed feelings.
