Since Mother Eve in the Garden long ago

The "true love" thing is misused 99.9% of the time. I think of it as a deep, almost spiritual connection, something amazing and special, and felt by both (all?) parties. And it's happened to me twice, and the first guy is not dead, nor is he my true love any longer.

But I think I'm the odd one out in how I use it. I think most people use it in the "ONE true love" sense, which is nonsense.
