chocolatepotI was talking to Julie yesterday about making money with sewing, and she suggested mitts and ruffles. Looking around the internet, that seems like a pretty good idea. I definitely think I could do these well ... I feel like I thought about doing this before, but now I'm actually getting started and ordering fabric and I am going to do this and I am going to make a little money.
Very very little is getting done today. I set in the sleeves on the spencer at slightly different angles, I should take out the first one and redo it but that can wait. I should figure out the collar first, because then there's barely anything left to do.
Also, I may sell the fabric I bought at Williamsburg. I just ... it's pretty, no doubt, but it's way too busy to make into a gown, and the colorway's not quite right. I should have gotten the one everyone gets, but no, I had to be DIFFERENT.
