Morning thoughts

chocolatepotLast night I cut out the pieces for my trial Regency corset (minus the straps, because I realized after I'd unpinned them in the scrap mockup that I hadn't actually drawn where the seams were on them). My dream is becoming a reality! Maybe I'll even sew a bit this evening (hahaha). It still looks really short, but I'm pretty sure it's just because I'm shortwaisted and not because I've made a mistake. When I do corsets they always look too short.
I just feel so energized, knowing that the temp agency has my back. I really expected them to tell me they'd signed a contract for a specific amount of work, or that my issues weren't severe enough to justify my being placed elsewhere.
My hair does not seem to be slowing down at getting oily. I have faith that it will soon, though! Even if it doesn't, I'm still really liking what this treatment does to it - it's softer and not as dry.
