I've emailed myself the invoice for the Gaiman thing tomorrow so I can print it at work, because my printer here has no ink, run through my presentation and typed out the notes that I think I'm going to want and will make me go smoother and with less ums (though nothing will take away all my ums), and queued my blog post for tomorrow.
Why You Should Never Have Taken That Prestigious Internship. The best line is this: A denied dream is something that matters; it is not something to be dismissed for anyone, regardless where they come from or whose “fault” people believe it is. Mistaking bad luck for bad character is one of the great cruelties of our time.
I am putting Anansi Boys, American Gods, and Stardust in the car tomorrow morning. Anansi Boys will probably be the one making the but because it's in the nicest shape and is hardcover, but I might end up bringing one of the others. This is too hard. I am feeling so much pain over this. Damn my anthropomorphizing tendencies! (Also freaking out about getting into the thing - what if the invoice is not the ticket but I was never sent the ticket, or I accidentally deleted the ticket, and they won't let me in.)
