chocolatepotI forgot, in all my whining before! Someone actually bought the ca. 1970 "Gypsy Vest" knitting/crochet pattern book I had on Etsy. Not for very much, but (more than I paid for it, and) I've gotten something out of my home that I did not want in it. Well done, me.
Sewed a lot of channels today - bustle and corset. I stopped at the hardware store for big cable ties (for the former), but they didn't have any, so I'm thinking I'll try doubled reed and when that doesn't work out, go to Home Depot after work.
Right now I'm working on scaling up an ~1840 pattern, because I've got the fabric and I need something for the railroad thing in July (bustle gown is defs not going to be ready). I'm going to die of heatstroke, but there you are.
