Skirt has hooks and eyes; bodice has hooks and thread bars. (I like doing thread bars. Also eyelets. What is wrong with me?) I've been fretting over what I'm going to put on my head, but after looking at a few plates I've decided that I should go to Walmart on Monday and see if I can get my hands on this guy or this guy, then stop over at AC Moore for some fake flowers. (I think I could wet and reshape the latter to have a larger brim and shorter crown and/or a flatter top, what do you think?)

This one looks like it would be perfect, but I don't really want to try to order something online and hope it comes by Friday.

Next up: bodice hemming and sleeves. I really do need a petticoat, but there's so much skirt (and two layers) that I think actual finishing is the more pressing need.
