chocolatepotWent to the Clark Art Institute with Mom this afternoon, then stopped at the Cambridge co-op on the way back for some loose tea ... and a packet of digestives, a small jar of whole milk yogurt, and a chunk of grinzling cheese. I didn't buy any books at the museum so it's okay, see! And I really wanted this Smithsonian book on fashion, so basically I saved $50 today, right?
Going to finish drawing channel lines on my stays now. I have both backs and one front done. Still not bought any grommets yet.
Thanks, you guys, for offering good wishes and congratulations! I've been doing a lot of translating to try to have a finished MS - although April says the MMA might have an original of the Galerie, which, if that's an original of the full four volumes, might mean I need to retranslate half the text (I've been using the 1912 reprint for the 3rd and 4th, and for whatever reason they replaced the original text with excerpts from other magazines, letters, books, newspapers, etc.), but that's okay! Because then I will have to do more work, but I will also get pages and pages and pages of new information.
