Sep. 20th, 2013 12:27 pmAmazon always emails me ads for historical romances, and sometimes I check them out - but I always go to the reviews, because they're usually entertaining:
Found an article about the cast changes in SNL, which I've been wondering about: Seth Myers may stay on for Weekend Update (since Late Night isn't on on Friday and Saturday nights) but with Cecily Strong as a co-host, Tim Robinson is getting put back in the writer's room, and they're adding five new people I have never heard of plus one of the writers.
Also I never watch the Tonys anymore because they're so looooong but I just came across this lovely little thing from this year's.
Okay. This morning I fully hemmed the skirt and now I'm going to slather on some foundation and go to Borden's for a bag of apple seconds.

The author does not have a good feeling for the time period. For example, she writes that the heroine never had a "boyfriend" before, and when the hero asks the heroine to go with him to a ball, the heroine is excited that she will be his "date".
