Feb. 25th, 2014 09:05 pmI've decided I might not bother trying to get a replacement dress form. I'm not entirely sure I'd get a more squishy one, basically, even if I can convince SewVacDirect that this one is defective. So some weekend when Mom and I are both not busy (this may never happen, Mom is always being called by people to come help with stuff) we'll trim her down so that she'll squish in a corset.
Yesterday I was walking around my car at work and slipped and fell on the ice. :( My neck is sore.
It seems like I may have gotten over the worst of the workload in the preparing-photos-for-the-internet thing at the museum. Just going strictly by the number of place tags I'm at 60% completion, but when I consider how many were labeled "Lake George" (1000), I feel like I might have more like 75% done, if not more. And I'm through all of the ones labeled "Adirondacks", though there are some Adirondack photos not labeled with that. It feels good.
I've been getting frustrated listening to Pandora at work because the work is kind of mindless and the music doesn't engage me enough, so I considered Audible.com briefly (I don't want to paaaaaay for stuff) and then remembered the BBC radio player! The day went by so much more quickly and productively - fewer internet breaks. I may start bringing my iPod to listen to my podcasts, which I haven't listened to in ages, too.
