I've gotten basically nothing done today, except for finishing the petticoat hem (still haven't done the top, though) and finishing The Sisters: The Saga of the Mitford Family (which I decided I didn't really want to post in detail about - it was very good and presented all of the sisters thoroughly in a fairly neutral manner, though it seemed to be mainly focused on Jessica, Diana, and Unity, which makes sense as they're the most sensational. I recommend it).

Ho hum. I like relaxing, but whenever I do this I feel like I wasted a day. When Mom spends the weekend, or part of it, away I tend to just turn off. Like the dog, really. He doesn't even start nagging for dinner until 6 when she's not here.
