chocolatepotTaken it into my head that I need to learn copperplate. I've been practicing! My handwriting is terrible, so even Victorian writing is an improvement.
Deleted that spurious royal connection from my Ancestry.com family tree (renewed my membership at a great discount, admittedly mainly so I can look people up from the letters and diaries I'm transcribing). There's no basis and I'd rather leave it empty than give the impression that it's credible. But I have all of these other hints stored up and it's nice and relaxing to get anal about my own genealogical research instead of someone else's.
