I did some mildly useful things today - went to the store (walked, so that's really two things), wrote and mailed a letter to someone I want to get back in touch with, made cookies - which justifies my marathoning Brooklyn Nine-Nine and translating Garsault. And I've finally gotten up to the last chapter, the one on seamstresses! The staymaker's was interesting and a bit confusing in a couple of places, I'll have to go through it again. But apparently we're doing it all wrong because we don't use buckram.
