Stop using it, you fool!

chocolatepotI should probably not be typing, since I came home from work half an hour early as my wrist pained me. When I was drying my hands in the bathroom this morning, I twisted the bad one the wrong way and it ached sharply the rest of the day. The last thing I was doing was cataloguing antique patterns, which went quickly and meant a lot of picking up and putting down, and it just got to the point where I really wanted to rest it. This weekend, I'm going to try taping it again, because that helped a lot before.
I'm going to talk to Tim next week about those patterns. There are probably about fifty, nearly all seem to be complete, and they could be traced onto paper (they'er all pre-cut beige pattern paper pieces), digitized, and sold as downloads. Some of them are REALLY cute and I want them.
Just ate a macaron. GOD. They are so good. Only one left, but I have some cookie dough in the fridge and I'll make some of that this weekend. And macarons again next weekend maybe? Now I've been reminded of the frosting pumper and have been shown where the almond meal is in the store the whole process should be simpler. And you know me - first try is functional, second try is excellent. With food as with sewing.
Weekend before last I let Riley sleep on my bed, which made him very happy - but I have a twin here, and he made it impossible to sleep comfortably. Mom's in Delhi, so I might sleep in her bed and let him snuggle up with me. The only trouble is that she has only sheer curtains, and unlike her I prefer to sleep beyond sunrise. So we'll see how it goes.
Rereading a pretty decent old post of mine makes me want to write something really substantial.
