I honestly don't get why people have been saying the costumes in Wolf Hall look cheap and polyestery. Some of them are poorly-fitted in the bodice (wrinkly over the stays), and there's too much brown and green to indicate middle-classness, but overall the cut of men's and women's clothing is fantastically accurate compared to so much Tudor film costuming, and the silk looks like silk.
