my entries have gotten very boring lately

chocolatepotChilling sleepily on the bed while watching the last two episodes of GBBO, which I never got around to before. Did not sleep well last night, the heating in this apartment is terrible: if the thermostat's set above 63, it goes to about 70, and if it's below that it just doesn't do much.
Today is my big getting-things-done day - went shopping, put batteries in the remote so it works now, cleaned the kitchen sink and the bathroom, saw Cinderella, and got bagels. Tonight I plan to cut out the skirt panels for either the Civil War Weekend dress or the bridesmaid dress ... possibly both? I'm getting anxiety about the number of projects I intend to do this year. Then tomorrow is going to be the at-home getting-things-done day: laundry and unpacking.
With luck, tonight's dinner is going to be spinach and mushroom hand pies, with the ones I don't intend to eat tonight frozen uncooked to be finished on another day. And tomorrow I'll be making another loaf of bread - this time, I have some whole wheat and rye flours, because the last loaf was all white and after getting used to the delicious multigrain bread over the past three or four months I find white bread extremely bland.
