chocolatepotBeen very quiet! It's too hot to do things. I was going to go to *sigh* Walmart tonight to get a fan (and a pot to make yoghurt in), but as I was planning I realized I had the collections committee meeting, so I did that instead. It went very well! I thought there would be more argument in favor of keeping stuff, but everyone was very agreeable and went along with it for the most part. Only a few things got pulled out. I'm happy.
This heat is making me rethink dressing up for the Civil War Weekend. What I have half done is a fairly solid cotton and it's like ... I just don't know. I should, I really should, though.
I was feeling happily sulky at times when I remembered that this was ten years past graduation because I thought nobody was inviting me to the ten year reunion, but I just got the invite because the group was just made. UGH. I mean, but yay, I guess. Better finish this dress so I can blow everyone away with how much I've changed. (I pluck my eyebrows now, for one thing.)
