For all of these, just want to note, that the genders as given are optional. I am fine with m/m, m/f, and f/f, and with historical (or pseudo-historical) settings that have period-accurate gender roles as well as ones that have no gender stereotyping and restrictions at all. That being said, I have to admit that I'm fond of stories where female characters are "proper" and not treated as lesser by the narrative for it, and where they're matched with men or butch/soft butch women.

We see Irene with a hurt/sick Gen a few times in canon, but I have to admit that I'd like to see how Gen copes with Irene not just recuperating but actively wounded or very ill.
I'm also fascinated by the idea of the Magus with a hurt Gen, considering the episode where Ambiades cut off the circulation in Gen's hands. Maybe something about that from the Magus's perspective? Or something later where the Magus thinks back to that? All up to you.

As you can see, I'm really into the fact that all of these characters have past trauma, so anything that deals with that could be great. The fact that it's the Middle Ages makes it really easy to give the characters some kind of illness requiring nursing! There's also nightmares that inconveniently cause people to reveal experiences from their past ...
And of course, Pagan and Babylonne find it easy to get into other kinds of trouble.
