Every time I look at it I start laughing

I just made the ugliest Battenberg cake. It tastes amazing, but I had all these thoughts about ooh taking a picture and putting it on Tumblr ... and it's hideous. I didn't cut it right, so the two vertical "halves" aren't the same size and one is falling over. I covered all but one end with chocolate frosting in hopes it would stick it together and NOPE, now it looks even worse. Should have made fondant and wrapped it up, that would have done it, but it's ... well, not too late, but I've done a lot of bake stuff and now have to start cooking dinner stuff and don't feel like it. Maybe this evening? I can just use the chocolate frosting as dirty icing.
