I had some really good thoughts in the car this evening I was going to post, seriously, and now they're all gone. :(
Watching an episode of Lost Empires before writing tonight. Really good costumes, and good music, if you like the 1910s. Colin Firth in probably his early twenties, too.
JS&Mr.N coming to the small screen: Our picks for Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell? How about, respectively, Damian Lewis and Derek Jacobi? Lewis might be a bit old but WANT, that'd be perfect.
People have been reblogging Princess Diaries gifs lately and for real, my hair looks like that. it's so big and frizzy, just ridiculous.
I was looking at the un-numbered bonnet at work today and took a few pictures, then went over and got out a couple other bonnets and took pictures of them as well. I have a fascination with bonnets. I haven't tried to make one yet, or any kind of hat save an 18th century cap, and they seem so impossible that I can't help but think about them. I always get really stupid about ~omg is it unethical to post pictures from work without explicit permission~, but it's pretty stupid of me. I'm just always feeling guilty about something, I suppose. Exhibits with original text and arrangements and dressed mannequins, that's one thing, and posting pictures of those isn't even always prohibited - pictures of objects that aren't being shown and possibly are never going to be shown are completely different. I know this intellectually but emotionally it's hard. Anyway the point is I'm going to post the pictures to the blog with descriptions of what's going on.
