So many things I need to do.

I just spent about two hours working on a post on court dress to replace my old one (which I hate but which continually gets hits) when I realized that I didn't have enough images of ordinary people's - for a given value of ordinary - court clothing, mostly just queens and lady peers in their lady peer robes. Which are probably even more fossilized than regular court dress and so aren't good examples. :( I really need to replace that page, it's so bad and people keep seeing it.

Sticking this here, as I have nowhere else for it:

Lucy: Sweetheart! Oh lud, sweetheart! The best names I have had these three months from her have been slut or whore - What gown and ruffles will your ladyship wear to day?

Nell: What does she mean? Ladyship, gown, and ruffles!

It's a pretty creeptastic wife swap "comedy", but I think it's interesting that picking out her ruffles is on the same level as picking out her gown.

I know I had something else I was going to say and I just can't think of it now. Ummm. Fabric should come tomorrow. My spencer looked decent at the tea party. I'm hungry.

My Etsy shop, I used once or twice. The username is Chocolatepot, the shop name was "Chocolatepot's Store" or something like that before I changed it (or thought about changing it) to AMBA like the blog. Delete account and create new one as "mimicofmodes" (so as to be attached to blog more and LJ less)?
