(no subject)

Well, this has been a very satisfying day, because I've (basically) finished my generic Victorian corset (read: not actually quite right for any part of the Victorian era, but produces a suitable hourglass silhouette), and while I only get a couple of inches of reduction, a) that is literally more reduction than I have ever before achieved, and b) despite the fact that that's not too much reduction, because of the shaping and the round-waist effect, I get a really good figure. It's not perfect (my bust is already wide-set and the corset makes it even more so, there's weird flaring at the bottom of the front pieces, the top edge is a bit low), but it will do me for a while and provide a great starting point for when I replace it.

And now to bed, quite early for a Friday night, but I'm tired and not good at sleeping in.
