It feels silly, typing this out
Feb. 13th, 2012 05:27 pmBut after starting a Twitter account it's really striking me that the entirely pseudonymous way of the internet is something of a relic. I have this really strong aversion to putting anything out there connected to my real name - "oh no, if I say this people will think I'm stupid and it will forever taint their opinion of me" - but it seems like most people who weren't doing extensive stuff on the internet before Facebook, either because they're younger or because they just weren't interested, have no problem with treating the internet as just another aspect of RL.
Basically, I saw people with Twitter handles that were their real names and kind of went :OOO at it. And am thinking about using Twitter and Tumblr (through a second blog) for non-srs-academic/fashion stuff to, like, communicate and stuff.
OT: haha, it makes me happy when other people are as ridiculously shippy as I am.
