chocolatepotI feel like I've been writing in dribs and drabs, but I have ten pages and 3,000 words so I must be all right. I think my academic writing always seems to be more choppy because a) citations put little walls up between sentences, and b) I do a lot of my research on the fly, in museum databases and Google Books, so I'm constantly stopping to find something out. I might take a break while I watch my shows and work on fixing my image captions in my thesis, which should be really fast.
Need to figure out what I'm going to do for images in this paper. I have read that photographs of two-dimensional artworks (like fashion plates and portraits) are uncopyrightable, but I don't want to send them in and then get in trouble.
Laptop is acting up - the power cord registers as plugged in and keeps the computer running, but won't charge the battery. It's a new battery, so I don't think the issue's there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the cord driver, but now it's time to try the Master Plan (shut it down and restart).
