Fingers crossed
Sep. 28th, 2012 11:36 amWrote this morning to the Schenectady science museum and to Clermont, which was the home of the Livingston family in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries so might have some good stuff. Unfortunately, it's down near Tivoli, about an hour away from Melissa's, which is an hour away from home. But in the scheme of things, it's not that far.
Raining, and chilly inside. I don't want to be the one who turns on the furnace, though, so I'll just go put a heavier sweater on.
Now that I've got this book project underway and the whole article-on-dress-vocabulary thing, Dad seems to be more on my side that working on them counts as, well, work. So that is awesome. Except that now I just want to sew. DDDD: I think it's because there's those two projects, plus the ppt for the talk I might do sometime at Ten Broeck, and whenever I get a lot of things I kind of need to do I always want to fall back on the things I don't need to do.
Got another application acknowledgement! Whoo, I'm practically employed!
