More sewing blahblah

chocolatepot"Blahblah" is my new noun, I like it very much.
I was going to go on at length about combinations (as in, combination chemise/drawers) but this is my first time using the Edwardian Modiste and I um clearly don't know what I'm doing with the special rulers. I did everything with the bust ruler and then realized I was supposed to do the heights with the rulers that go to my neck-to-waist height and the length I want for the drawers, and the width of the drawers with the ruler based on my waist.
SO NOW I HAVE A HUGE DRAWERS PATTERN. Because I used the 40" ruler for everything. And now I have no more newspaper left to cut up.
Sometimes I am SO STUPID.
